BIHUN GORENG SINGAPORE (SINGAPORE FRIED NOODLE)

السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ
Peace be upon you

Ya ampun.. kejap ada kejap takde. Tenggelam timbul I di blog ni kan? Allah.. rindu pada kawan-kawan blogger like Kak Mala, Kak Mar, Ana, Nadia, Mak Aji, Kak Noor, Endah, Sudais dan lain-lain.

How's your last holiday? I tak ke mana pon since my Mom is here and the other half pulak balik kampung. So mati kutu lah jawabnya. Jadi masa yang banyak terluang tu di berikan pada mini garden tu. Seronok lah anak-anak bila mak nye di rumah dan begitu juga dengan si bam bam Ben tu.

Lately jarang masak. Ye lah, bila my Mom dah ada di sini head chef off duty lah kan? :)

Hari ni nak update recipe bihun goreng Singapore. Ye I tau kacang je kan and you all memang terror kan? Tapi I tengok banyak recipe tak sama bahannya. I cuma guna bahan yang asas saja dan campak apa yang ada di dalam fridge tu.

Ingredients

1/2 packet of rice vermicelli
1 onion (bawang besar - thinly sliced)*
3 cloves garlic (thinly sliced)*
1/2 tbsp dried shrimps
1/2 tbsp black pepper corn (pounded)
Salt to taste
1/2 cup of water
1/4 cup of vegetable oil
1/2 cup shredded cabbage
1/2 cup chopped cauliflower
1 tube squid (XL sice - cut into rings)
2 red chilies (thinly sliced)

Method

Soak the rice vermicelli in warm water for 20 minutes and drain. Set aside.

Soak the dried shrimps for few minutes. Put * ingredients into the food processor together with dried shrimps. Do not over grind.

Heat oil in a wok over medium heat. Pour the paste into the wok and cook until fragrant or lil bit brown. Add in black pepper, squid, salt and cook for 2 minutes or until the squid cook for your liking. Add in the vegetables together with chilies and mix them well. Cook for another 2 minutes.

Pour in the water, add vermicelli and mix them well. Cook for 15-20 minutes. Garnish with shredded omelette and chopped parsley.

Ready to serve.

You suka taruk apa sebagai isi dalam bihun goreng? I juga suka udang tapi stock udang dah habis and carrot pon dah habis :( Terasa malas sangat nak keluar cari bahan jadi masukkan saja apa yang ada.

Hingga bertemu lagi.

Love,

   Honey
