MEE BANDUNG

Bersiaran lagi kita hari ini ya? Bagaimana puasa you all? Semalam tak tau nak makan, kebetulan lebihan mee kuning ada lagi jadi I buat mee bandung simple aje. Di sebabkan takde stock daging maka I campak lah apa yang ada dalam fridge tu.



One Serving

Bahan-bahan

Segenggam mee kuning (lebih kurang 100-200gm)
1/4 cawan isi ayam bertulang (nak taruk isi saja pun boleh)
1 fish cake (di hiris nipis)
6 fish balls (di belah dua)
1 biji telur ayam
2 sb cili kisar (yang dah di blend dengan bawang merah, putih dan belacan)
1 sb sos cili
1 sb sos tiram
2 biji bawang putih (di cincang halus)
1 sk udang kering yang di tumbuk
3-4 sb minyak masak
1/4 cawan daun sawi
1 keping tauhu (di potong dadu)
1/2 biji buah tomato (di potong wedges)
Garam secukup rasa
1 sb + 1 sk gula (or for your liking)
2 1/2 cawan air
3/4 sb tepung jagung
Hirisan daun sup


Cara-cara

Panaskan minyak masak dalam kuali di atas api yang sederhana. Tumiskan bawang putih hingga naik baru dan sedikit keperangan. Masukkan cili kisar, sos cili, sos tiram dan udang kering. Tumis hingga naik minyak dan wangi. Masukkan isi ayam dan masak selama 1-2 minit. 

Tuang air ke dalam kuali dan reneh selama 8 minit atau hingga isi ayam masak. Masukkan fish balls, fish cake, tauhu, gula, garam dan masak selama 1-2 minit. Masukkan mee, sayur sawi, buah tomato dan pecahkan telur. Masak selama 2 minit dan akhir sekali masukkan bancuhan tepung jagung bagi memekatkan kuah. Masak hingga kuah pekat. 

Setelah masak, tuang ke dalam mangkuk dan taburkan hirisan daun sup. Sedia di hidang.



 
Sebenarnya I'm craving my hometownnye mee bandung but my craving fixed yesterday evening :) Alhamdulillah.

GARDEN UPDATE : PART 9

Hari takde resepi ye kawan-kawan? Kita cuti update resepi hari ni ye. Nak tunjuk dekat you all pak choy dengan bayam yang I cerita hari tu.


Itu lah dia. Bayam sepokok pak choy sepokok. Habis nak buat camne? Campur dua-dua tu? ROTFL

Tapi I confuse, rasanya benih pak choy tapi tengok rupa macam sawi kan? Entah lah hantam saja lah labu....

Masak apa you all petang nanti? I masih lagi  terfikir-fikir nak masak apa.. *rolling eyes*

SPAGHETTI CARBONARA

Semalam I masak simple dish aje. Senang! Campak aje tung tang tung tang dah siap!




Recipe adapted from : Good Food 
(One Serving)

Ingredients

80-100gm dried spaghetti
1 frankfurter (thinly sliced)
1/4 yellow onion (finely chopped)
3 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tsp grounded black pepper
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 egg 
A pinch of salt
Water to boil
1 tbsp salt

Method

Boil water in a large saucepan. Add 1 tbsp salt and cook spaghetti until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Heat oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Cook the frankfurter until crisp. Add onion, garlic and black pepper and cook till fragrant.

Add a pinch of salt, spaghetti and mix them well.

Mix most of the cheese with egg, take the pan of spaghetti off the heat and quickly pour the egg mixture onto the spaghetti. Mix them well until the egg mixture become thicken and everything is coated (but doesn't cramble). Add 2 tbsp water to keep it saucy.

Pour the cooked spaghetti on a plate or bowl and garnish with parsley or coriander leave and also the remaining parmesan cheese. Ready to serve.

BUTTER PRAWNS

I cooked butter prawns accompanied by stir-fry spinach on the 1st of Ramadhan 1435h. Just a simple dishes for the first day. Makan sorang jadi tak perlu membazir :)


Ingredients

10 L size prawns
3 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
5-6 bird's eye chilies (thinly sliced)
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp evaporated milk
1 sprig curry leaves
1 egg yolk
4 tbsp butter (for egg yolk)


Method

Clean the prawns, deveined and drain the excess water.

Melt butter in a sauce pan over high heat. Add garlic, chilies and curry leave and cook till fragrant and slightly brown.

Add in prawns and cook till it turn to red colour. Pour in milk and cook till the milk absorbed. Place the prawns in a plate and set aside.

Melt butter in a wok over high heat. Whisk the egg yolk and slowly pour into a wok. In the same time, you have to swirl the egg yolk with ladle in one direction. After a few seconds, you will see the mixture becomes foamy, keep stirring until you can see the egg floss and stir for another 10 seconds to get it crisp. Drain the excess oil.

Garnish the prawns with egg floss.


Note : I don't fried the prawns first sebab malas! :) And my egg floss tak nampak macam egg floss pun hahahaha.

JUICE IN JAR SERIES

Hari ni nak share recipe juice yang menyihatkan. Tapi this week belum ada kesempatan lagi nak buat. Sigh.




Ingredients

A handful of spinach (bayam omputih ye kawan-kawan, bukan bayam yang kita buat masak tu)
1 cup mango juice
1 orange
Ice cube (if needed)



Method

Place all ingredients in juice processor and grind till smooth. Add ice cube for your liking.


No worries, tak ada rasa bayam pun :)
