SAMBAL PARU

السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ

Hari ni nak share sambal paru sedap and simple. Sedap tu pada taste buds I lah ye hehe. My niece teringin sangat nak makan sambal paru.. asyik minta aje sampai dia buat kan Chocolat Brownies untuk I. Jadi Isnin lepas I pun buat lah sambal paru yang simple habis! Yelah balik keje dah pukul berapa kan? 

Di sebabkan dia ada di rumah I suruh dia sediakan dulu semuanya termasuk lah goreng paru tu dan tumbuk bahan-bahannya. Balik tinggal I masak je lagi.



   


Ingredient


 

300 gm cattle/cow lung

4 red chilies (seeded) *

10 bird’s eye chilies *

1 onion (bawang besar) *

1 thumb size shrimp paste

Salt to taste

Sugar to taste

1 tsp salt to rub the lung

1 tsp turmeric powder

5 tbsp vegetable oil

1 ½ cup of vegetable oil for deep frying

Water to boil









Method





Poach the lung for 20 minutes. Drain the water and set aside to cool. Thinly slice the lung, rub with salt and turmeric powder.



Heat oil over the medium heat, fry the lung until crisp. Drain the excess oil and set aside.



Roughly pound the * ingredients. Heat oil in a wok over the medium heat. Add in the * ingredients together with shrimp paste and cook for 15 minutes.



Pour some water, add in sugar, salt and let it shimmering until the gravy is thicken. Once the water absorbed, add in the crisp lung and mix them well. Turn off the heat and ready to serve.
