HONEY LEMON

السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ
Peace be upon you

My sister bought three bottles of honey for RM60.00 last month. Obviously something fishy huh? Since she gave me a bottle of honey, I tried to made honey lemon in jar.

Ingredients

Honey
2 lemons

Method

Thinly slice the lemons. Place it in the jar and slowly pour honey into the jar over the top. Store in the fridge.

To consume, add a tablespoon of honey into the hot/warm water. Add more for taste.

Note : You can add grated ginger into the honey mixture as well. This is for cold and flu remedy.

Ternyata lah madu yang di beli oleh my sister is fake! Sebab sepatutnya madu akan membeku jadi jelly bila di campur dengan lemon apabila di simpan dalam fridge. Tapi tidak, ianya cair. My Mom said that the seller mix honey with sugar and cook till thickened. Hmm... such dishonest seller.

I do like food photography, photo editing and so on but not a talented one I guess. Sebab tak cantik macam orang lain haha.

Homemade bread with nutella and top with slices of banana.

How the above photo look like? Not pretty enough huh?

Ni saja nak tayang ke you all. I buat karipap pusing last week.. Teringin punya pasal hehe. Ada masa nanti cuba buat lagi. Kena perhalusi lagi pastry nya tu supaya lebih cantik. Kalau menjadi, nanti I update recipe nya pula ya?

Love,

Honey

  2. Assalam Honey.
Kesihan Honey dapat honey yang tak tulen, hehe. One important determinant whether the honey that we buy is genuine or not is certainly its price. Real honey is not cheap. I'd usually go for the imported ones, or those (including local honey) with brand names that we can trust.

    1. Salam Pak Temuk,

SubahanAllah.. madu tualang itu lah yang mahal! Untung Pak Temuk.. rezeki Pak Temuk ya? True indeed! Even the local honey is not as cheap as that.. The one that I bought just only 75ml I guess, it cost me RM30.00! Inikan pulak botol besar lebih kurang 1 liter tu. Tak apa lah.. rezeki si penjual barangkali.
