TUNA BUNS

السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ
Peace be upon you


Sudah bersarapan ke you all? ops.. dah pukul 11.30 pagi lah haha. Pasti you all tengah tung tang tung tang di dapur kan untuk makan tengahari. Harini I buat tuna buns.. dah lama tak meroti woiii..

Preheat oven at 180c


Bun


Ingredients



300gm Bread Flour (I substitute with plain flour)
210gm 1 egg + warm milk 
20gm butter
15 gm sugar
5 gm salt
6gm dry yeast



Mehtod


Mix all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Mix them well and place the sticky dough onto slightly floured flat surface. Knead till the dough smooth and not stick on your fingers.

Return the dough into the mixing bowl, cover with plastic wrap and let it sit for 40 minutes for proofing.

Return the dough onto flat surface, punch the gas out and knead for 3 minutes. Shape the dough into 7-8 balls. Flatten each balls and top with tuna filling. Or you can wrap the tuna filling with the flatten dough.

Bake the buns at 180c till golden brown (about 20 minutes).




Tuna Filling


Ingredients

1 can tuna (drain the sauce)
1/2 onion (diced)
1 red chili (roughly chopped)
A pinch of salt
1 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp mayonnaise


Method

Mix all the ingredients.

    1. Mula-mula doh yang dah di bahagikan tu di gelek sampai 1 cm tebal. Pastu guna lah cawan plastic ke apa ke yang boleh bentuk bulat, then selebihnya di tepi tu lah yang di pintal. Then letakkan di atas kepingan doh yang di tekap dengan cawan tu.

    Nampak sedap je! Dapat 7/8 biji ya daripada doh sebanyak tu. Nak kena bajet dgn brp orang nak makan, he he!

      Seeloknya Mak Aji gunakan tepung roti ya. Tapi saya punya ni guna tepung gandum aje.. pon boleh hahahaha.....
