QUINOA PATTIES WITH SALMON

Oh nampaknya masih ramai kawan-kawan I di blog ini masih belum kenal quinoa. Ok, tak apa.. I share kan recipe untuk quinoa ini ya? Nanti boleh lah cuba di rumah.

I cooked quinoa again yesterday accompanied by stir-fry kangkung (Asian Water Spinach).



Quinoa Patties

Ingredients

1/2 cup quinoa
1 cup of water
10 slices of salmon belly (roughly chopped)*
1/2 onion (finely chopped)*
2 cloves garlic (finely chopped)*
A pinch of salt *
A pinch of white pepper *
2 tbsp chopped parsley *
3 tbsp vegetable oil


Method

Rinse the quinoa and drain. In a pot, cook quinoa with water over medium heat till the water absorbed. Turn or the heat and let it sit for 10 minutes. Fluff the quinoa with a fork. Set aside.

Place * ingredients in a bowl. Pour in the cooked quinoa and mix them well. 

Use 1/3 cup to measure, form it to round and lightly press and you will get 1" thick patties. You will have 4 patties from 1/2 cup of quinoa.

Heat oil in a  skillet and cook quinoa for 4-5 minutes each sides or till golden brown.

Serve warm with mixed salad.


Note : You can add breadcrumbs to absorb some of the moisture.





Makan 3 ketul dah kenyang. 1 lagi dah membazir.. haih..

    Mayb if u can ambil gambar quinoa yg raw yg belum masak..
    Hehehe..macam tak boleh nak imagine gitu..hehe..

    1. Beli la Kak Mar sekeping. Buat goreng pastu cicah ngan sambal kicap or air asam. Macam tu pun dah sedap!
