HOMEMADE PIZZA

Apa khabar you all? Sihat ke? I sihat alhamdulillah :)

Since I ate a lot of chicken rice on Saturday, tak rasa nak makan nasi pula semalam. Jadi I made a simple tuna pizza for lunch. I buat thin crust pizza (12") dan juga garlic bread. Garlic bread tu I guna dough yang sama, I took 1/4 of the dough untuk buat garlic bread tu.



Preheat oven at 180°c

Ingredients


Dough

3 cups plain flour
1 cup luke warm water
1 packet dry yeast (11gm)
2 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp vegetable oil / olive oil
1 tsp salt
1 tsp bread softener


Topping

1 can tuna chunks
3 tbsp mayonnaise
1/2 yellow onion (thinly sliced)
2 red chilies (thinly sliced)
1/4 cup cheddar 
1/4 cup mozzarella
1 tsp grounded black pepper
1/4 cup tomato paste


Method

Pour yeast into warm water together with sugar. Whisk till the sugar dissolved. Let it sit for 10 minutes until bubbles.

Place all dry ingredients into a large bowl together with oil. Pour in yeast mixture and mix them well with spoon or wooden spatula. Once the dough sticky, turn the dough onto a surface and you can start kneading. Knead till the dough not stick on your finger, smooth and elastic.

Brush a bowl lightly with oil and place back the dough in the bowl. Cover with towel or plastic wrap and let it sit for half and hour to doubled in size. 

Punch it down, knead for a minute and you can roll it to 1 cm thick or you can just spread it out on a large pizza pan.

Mix tuna chunks with mayonnaise and blackpepper. Spread tomato paste as a base and followed by tuna. Top with onions, chilies and cheeses. Bake for 30-40 minutes. Serve hot.


Ini pulak pizza yang I buat on last Thursday night. Balik kerja tak tau nak berbuka puasa apa, lepas mandi and solat terus menguli and made this kind of pizza. Simple aje, top with tomato paste, frankfurters, yellow onions and cheeses. Tapi this pizza is pan pizza which is dia punya dough I buat tebal. I ajak jiran sebelah makan sekali. I makan 1 slice dah kenyang, anak-anak dia masing-masing boleh makan 3 slices and 2 slices! This pan pizza gebu sangat and happy je bila dapat makan :)

Garlic bread tu sebenarnya I nak jadikan breadsticks tapi gelek tebal sangat hahaha. Kan I ambil sikit dari dough pizza tu. Lepas gelek sapu kan aje kat atas tu dengan buttercup yang dah di gaul dengan grated garlic. Bakar pastu potong-potong jadikan stick. Udoh..jadi breadsticks nye haa...! :)


Buat masa ni masih belum ada update dari kebun I tu. Bila lah nak start menanam balik. Hari tu semai benih tomato dan sawi tak nak tumbuh. Tak tau lah kenapa. Mungkin simpan dalam rumah kot. Atau cuaca terlalu panas? Sigh.

      Cuba lah buah doh sendiri. Tak rugi mencuba. Lepas cuba sekali pasti gian nak buat lagi dan pasti dah tak nak pergi pizza hut dah :) Contoh buat pizza topping sausage tu tak sampai RM20 boleh dapat pizza besar. Cuma mozzarella tu agak mahal.

      Hehe suka buat tapi makan sikit aje. Selebihnya bagi kat jiran. Allah.... Kak Mala pon boleh buat. Tapi jangan lah di uli guna kaki macam kawan Kak cakap tu hehehe
