BIRTHDAY PARTY AND BLACK POMFRET CURRY

Salam.

Sabtu lepas my bff buat makan-makan sempena hari jadi dua orang anak dia. Punya lah kenyang perut makan and yang paling best hari ahad tak payah masak sebab dia bungkuskan baaayak lauk-pauk. Menu apa? Nak tau ke? Menunya ialah :

1. Mee Hoon Goreng
2. Nasi Himpit
3. Kuah Kacang
4. Ayam Masak Kicap
5. Rendang Ayam
6. Kuah Lodeh
7. BuahTembikai
8. Air Ribena

Banyak gile kan? Tapi photonya nga ada deh hehehehe. (Kalau I masak semua tu sorang-sorang sure lepas tu I pengsan. Kuat betul dia.. Ish Ish Ish) Semuanya sedap-sedap belaka and of course la ada cake. Ada dua jenis cake, satu RAINBOW cake and satu lagi Moist Chocolate cake.
Lepas ni ada sesiapa lagi tak nak buat makan-makan? Jemputlah I ok?? kui kui kui

Today, I would like to share with you the black promfet recipe. I dapat recipe ni dari my mom. Barulah I tau macam mana boleh dapat kari ikan bawal hitam yang sangat sedap padahal dia tak guna santan pun!



The Ingredients

1. 5tbs cooking oil
2. 2 black promfet fishs (cut into 3 portion)
3. 5tbs fish curry powder
4. 3 onions (finely sliced)*
5. 2 cloves garlic (finely sliced)*
6. 3cm ginger (finely sliced)*
7. 1 tsp mixed spices*
8. Salt (depend on you)
9. 1tsp seasoning powder
10. 1tsp asam jawa extra adabi
11. 1 sprig of curry leave*
12. 1 tsp tumeric powder (to marinate the fish)
13. 1/2 tsp salt (to marinate the fish)
14. 2 cup of cooking oil (to deep fried the fish)
15. 2-2 1/2 cups of water

Method

1. Clean the fish and cut into three portion. Marinate the fish with salt and tumeric, heat the oil in a wok. Deep fried the fish for 2-3 minutes each side. (don't over cooked). Put aside.
2. Heat the cooking oil in a pot. Add the * ingredients. Stir until the fragrance and brown.
3. Add the curry powder and stir for a minute and add 1 cup of water, salt, seasoning powder and asam jawa. Cook till boiled for few minutes (10-15minutes).
4. Add the black promfet fish and pour the remaining water. Balance the taste and boiled till the gravy lil bit smeary.


Punya lah sedap makan haritu. Selama ni tak pandang pun kari ikan bawal sebab tak lalu nak makan. Now menggila woooo dok ingat kat kari bawal hitam ni. Rupanya petua dia kena goreng dulu.. Sayang mak! Apa? Santan? Tak payah nak bersantan-santan! Macam ni pun sedap, santan tu buat tambah kolestrol aje tau?? Yang korang makan nasi kandar kat Line Clear tu tak kisah pun pasal santan? Uh uh uh..


Tambah pulak dengan sayur bayam tumis belacan sikit, cili padi sikit..pastu makan pulak dengan timun and sambal belacan.. aiyo.. terliur la I.. hehehehe

1. My mom tak taruk pun rempah campur tu. I saja taruk bagi lagi umph!
